We are pleased to share a recording of a presentation by Dr Layla Aitlhadj from our recent joint event with the Critical Studies on Terrorism BISA working group.
Dr Aitlhadj is the Director and Senior caseworker at Prevent Watch, an NGO that supports individuals impacted by Prevent.
In the video, Dr Aitlhadj talks about the suppression of freedom of speech and how Prevent is used to suppress pro-Palestinian activism in particular. She gives a background on what Prevent is, how it fits into the counter-terrorism strategy and why it is so relevant today.
