Submissions are now open for our 2024 Annual Conference – Proliferating Entanglements: Matter and Meaning in the Middle East

Submissions for the 2024 BRISMES conference, hosted by the Richardson Institute, SEPAD, and the Department of Politics, Philosophy and Religion at Lancaster University, are now open. Please take a look at our full call for papers and submit an abstract for an individual presentation, panel and/or roundtable by 14 December 2023. BRISMES warmly welcomes submissions on any topic or area related to the MENA region. In addition to the main theme and focus of the conference, which changes annually, areas of relevance to BRISMES include (but are not limited to): politics, culture & society, language, literature, history, linguistics and translation studies, in and related to the MENA region.
